 Vijayan Palazhi is a person who is marked in the cultural history of Kerala by the trinity of Palazhi. It is not easy for the common man to work in more than one field at a time and to make his presence felt strongly there. But this 'victory' is flying the flag in all hands. Poet, playwright, actor, novelist, teacher, astrologer, journalist and lecturer, this man aims for the betterment of the society in which he lives, even as he walks through his own path full of contradictions. Attempts to shake off the insecurities of present-day life through the constant quarrels with the letters flow from the depths of this mind. Vijayan Palazhi alias G. Vijayakumar of Attingal Avanavanchery Palazhi is the youngest son of S. Gopinathan Nair, a member of the Avanavanchery Muzhikavilakam family and VS Radhadevi, a member of the Varkala Kakot family. Kavyangana's group reached success at an early age. While studying in the eighth class, his first poem was printed in the children's section of Mathrubhumi Weekly. Later Vijayan could not help but write. Many of the poems were published in a series of major weekly magazines. Vijayan, who came on stage with drama from the fifth class, was tempted by the drama. Before entering the heart of the vision that drama is born at the pinnacle of poetry, Vijayan embarked on the path of drama. Eleven of the best solo dramas in Malayalam came out of this abyss when the inner turmoil gave way to drama. Vijayan was influenced in this field by the theatrical visions of G. Sankarappilla. He created an amateur theater troupe called DrishyaMany of these plays were staged and handled small and large roles in them. After graduating in Malayalam, Vijayan also worked as a teacher in a parallel college. The meager income earned during this period was set aside to buy books and see prominent writers. The poems were printed under the name Avanavanchery Vijayakumar. Storyteller S. Bhasurachandran combined the family name Palazhi to make Vijayakumar Vijayanpalazhi. Later, Vijayakumar merged with the three-letter word Palazhi in the minds of readers and friends. Vijayanpalazhi has won eleven plays, three collections of poems, a collection of essays and a novel for Malayalam. G. Sankarappilla's first Drama Award, Peace and Disaster Society's Drama Award, Janakiyachalachithravedi Poetry Award, Keltron Drama Writer's Award, Videsha Malayalam Cultural Society Poetry Award, Tikkur Award. He was the Associate Director of the documentary 'Causes of Thikkurishi Malayalam Cinema'. He played notable roles in the telefilms Kumaranasan's Childhood, Cycle, The Last Prince and The Background. Vijayanpalazhi has also acted in films like Realfighter and Aneesya. He has been working as a journalist in Kerala Kaumudi for 25 years. Under the tutelage of NE Muthuswamy, the founding president of Jyotisha Pracharasabha, Jyothisha Bhushanam has been conducting Jyotisha Pracharasabha classes for 13 years by setting up an astrology analysis center at Palazhi Attingal, which was a success in the first class. There are more than a hundred disciples in this area as well. When Malayalam got the title of Shreshtabhasha, Vijayanpalazhi celebrated that achievement by setting up Shreshtabhasha Library with his friends in Attingal. This man loves his mother tongue so much. He was also the editor of Janatarangam, a magazine based on Attingal. Vijayanpalazhi's field of work extends as the Vice President of Malayalam School and the organizer of Kavyapatham, the poetic community in the venues.
